Skies behind her eyes

...or ginger wind... Model: Olga

I've been struggling with this photoshoot. No assistant + strong wind (bora). But I like the result, though considering her unique facial features, I think I can do something better.

Boh, I'm not in the best mood today. Just want to disappear from here...to a place where nobody knows me. I think you all know the feeling. In Lithuanian we say "I feel like in someone else's fur", if translated word by word, that's how I feel. I'm here, but my mind is either home or wandering in the streets of some unknown city. Too many connections, it feels like you can't even take salad instead of pasta without someone asking about it. Privacy please! :) Anyways, I've been approved for going to Maribor Festival in spring, 6 students from the college will go and we have a great group of people. Exciting! What else...this week is Occidentals' National week, named "Go West!", we have a show tomorrow for which I have to dress as a frog and then Prom on Saturday, to which with my current mood I'm totally NOT looking forward. We kind of have to go in couples and I don't think I've ever heard so many gossips in such a short period of time. Yesterday we had really strong bora and it was the first time I saw wind that would make so much noise...wow, it was unbelievable for a girl like me who comes from a flat (but very beautiful) little country like Lithuania. It felt like in a horror movie. But it's gone today and I'm glad, because I was a bit sick and it's not fun going to school against the wind that just goes through all of your clothes. Okay, I'll go to study a bit or read. I'm into philosophy and psychology recently. Take care everybody!

Gaudi necklace

unconsciously inspired by Gaudi

Life's good. I'm a bit sick because bora is just way too strong. Recent days were full of discussions about (lucid) dreams, nice talks, cakes, books, walks, knitting. Take care friends, wherever you are.

Back to Italy

So I'm here in Italy again. Wasn't THAT excited at first, seriously. But seeing my friends made me happy...and at the end I AM happy to be back to college. The weather was perfect yesterday, we did yoga and I was feeling really good. Should have had Malaysian dinner, but our wonderful Allisha realised that she doesn't have any rice:P oh well. Today was the first day of classes and it was pretty fine as well. We started a new subject called Theory of Knowledge, I like the teacher and it's gonna be fun. Overall, everything's fine here~
I travelled a bit before coming back to college, because my co-year from Japan, Shoya, was here. Visited Trakai, Vilnius, Kaunas. I think he liked Lithuania...I hope. And I met some of my friends that I haven't seen for a loooong time. Lovely. We even made sushi on the last day. Yummy.
Well, for now upcoming highlights are gonna be another National Week at the end of January(phew, ours is done) and Project week in February. If things work out, I'm going to Višnjan Observatory in Croatia for the Project Week. Exciting.
Started knitting a scarf. Green one. Oh, and I got a super beautiful Bangladeshian national costume from Hemayat. And these pictures are from Sagrada Familia in Barselona - just a random and very nice lady.

Barcelona

...or Gaudi is simply a genius. I loved loved loved the city. The atmosphere. The people. Their style. The architecture. The design shops. Loved that art is everywhere in Barcelona. I'm definitely coming back at some point. Some more pictures (if interested in seeing a bunch of teenagers messing around Barcelona:) here.
